PERFORMANCE
GROUND BREAKING NEWS
Insite Magazine
It might be another ordinary day for the residents in Aberdeen and Sai Ying
Pun, but for the LLNS JV team who has been working on the HATS Stage 2
project for over four years, today marks the substantial completion of HATS.
HATS Stage 2 project improves the
water quality of Victoria Harbour by
transferring the sewage to a sewage
treatment facility through the subsea
sewage conveyance system from
Aberdeen to Sai Ying Pun. The punctual
completion of HATS Stage 2 has again
successfully proven the strong project
execution capabilities of Leighton Asia-
LNS Joint Venture team, building up
Leighton’s solid track record of project
delivery.
To be on-time…
The team set key dates, milestones,
monthly and short-term goals to keep
the project on track. Presentations of
09
construction sequence with the aid of
step-by-step diagrams are delivered by
shaft managers in regular meetings to
ensure everyone is on the same page.
But that’s not all; team members are
encouraged to share all the ups and
downs they experienced, so that good
practices get around and problems are
prevented from recurring.
HATS ON, READY TO GO!
